practiced writing out numbers in letters and vice versa. We also learned how to place 4 digits numbers on a number line in math.
did an overview of the criteria for our oral presentation in socials studies when we read out our immigration story to the class. Mme Emilie did two ''mock'', presentations and students had to explain how she could improve/ what she did well. A few students presented this week and all students will present by next friday.
practiced playing Lacross during P.E
welcomed the grade 5 students in our class and listened attentively to their Livromanie presentations.
worked hard on finish writing activities such as the English paragraph, the paragraph in French about an important object, the immigration story and our English brochures.
did our first classroom gallery walk showcasing all of our amazing brochures! The ambience was calm and all students were very respectful of each others work. After doing a tour of all the brochures, students picked two different inventions/innovations other than their own and answered the What?When? Why? Who? and How much? questions in order to prepare ourselves to write a comparison paragraph in English.
